Through paid internships, our new program supports English learners who want to work with children. It’s already changing lives — like Zainab’s. Just a year ago, she arrived in Lincoln from Iraq. Today, she’s thriving in her very first job at Hamilton Heights Child Development Center, thanks to the support of Lincoln Littles, Lincoln Literacy, and the American Job Center of Lancaster and Saunders Counties (AJC).
