Welcoming Week Open House, 2026

September 18 @ 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm

Welcoming Week is an annual campaign that celebrates the amazing work done to make our community a welcoming place for all. This includes immigrants. Through Welcoming Week, neighbors of all backgrounds are brought together and given the opportunity to showcase their values through events and initiatives. This helps to build strong connections between immigrants and non-immigrants, affirm the importance of welcoming and inclusive places, and foster belonging for all.

Right here in Lincoln, Welcoming Week invites us all to celebrate. Music, food, stories, and traditions from the many cultures in our community will be on display throughout the city.

Here at Lincoln Literacy, we’re delighted to participate. Join us Friday, September 18, for our Welcoming Week Open House, 2026. All Lincoln Literacy students, tutors, and community members are invited to attend.
