Lincoln Literacy’s Global Celebration

You’re invited to our Global Celebration on Nov. 9 at 6pm.

This year we successfully launched a capital campaign, moved to a new location, and experienced record student growth. Come celebrate with us at the Cornhusker Hotel on Thursday, November 9! Between 2021 and 2022, Lincoln Literacy’s student population grew by 37%. We served a total of 1,109 adult learners in 2022, and as of July 31 this year, we had already served 1,156 adults, beating last year’s record growth in only 7 months. Lincoln Literacy students are also growing in their skills with 81% of students improving at least one level months. Middle Eastern students are our largest demographic, making up 32% of our student population in 2022, followed by Spanish-speaking students (25%), Asian and Pacific Islander students (18%), and Ukrainian and their English assessment.
