On April 9th, Lincoln Literacy Council will present its second annual "Open Books, Open Doors" fundraising auction and reception. This fabulous event features local authors and their works, a wide range of autographed books from all over, other creative works, many other great items and services to bid on, AND delicious food, pleasing music, and a cash bar. Pulitzer-nominated author Joe Starita will be our keynote speaker! (You can read his biography here.) The Open Books, Open Doors event will be held at Chez Hay, 214 N. 14th St (14th & P) from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, April 9th. Free parking will be provided.
